Adding a Recovery Email to your Bard Account

A recovery email address can help you regain access to your account if you forget your password. Without a recovery email configured on your account, the helpdesk will need to be contacted for any password resets. For additional details, please see our password reset policy.

Go to https://myaccount.google.com/ and make sure you are signed in with your Bard account by hovering over the profile icon in the top right hand corner of the page.
Click the “Security” menu on the left hand side of the page.

From the Security menu choose “Recovery email” found under “How you sign in with Google.”
Follow the on screen instructions to add and verify a backup email account.
