Downloading the Office 365 Desktop Apps
Access to the Office 365 desktop installers requires both an active Office 365 account and an assigned desktop application license. If you don't already have these permissions, please see our documentation on setting up an Office 365 account and requesting licensing.
- Select the dropdown menu titled "Install and more" and select "Install Microsoft 365 apps"
- On the next page, choose the language and version of Office that you wish to install. Most PCs use a 64-bit operating system, but check your individual computers specs if you are unsure. Once your options have been selected choose "Install Office" to download the installer.
- Go to your downloads folder, or whichever folder your web browser saves downloads to and run the installation file. Windows will walk you through the rest of the installation process.
